In October 2006, BCD2S announced to their small 50-student and 15-faculty community that the high school portion of the school would be forced to close at the end of the year due to financial troubles. Parents met once a week to strategize how to save the school, but to no avail. Depressed students and faculty alike began their search for new schools for next year, while still navigating the tumultuous high school world.
