She takes a dislike to Mr. Prank - whom she calls Plank - feeling that he is lazy, but she takes a shine to Nev and feeds him chocolate drops, largely because she thinks he is a dog. She has brought with her an unusual ornament, a garden gnome, which actually turns out to be a spy, keeping tabs on Mr. Prank's work and checking that Nev is a dog.
