His identity was 'borrowed' by local student Johannes Maler, whose activist friends Anika Hübner and Simon Koslowski helped him infiltrate the refugees asylum posing as Zarif to document poor conditions with a hidden button camera. Senior camp director Horst Rakow and butch overseer Nick Schuhmann abuse inmates, according to Zarif, but the camera is missing.
