And that it was atmospheric and remote, with a measure of supernatural. Dead Sea Reels was one of a series of short plays, this only 19 minutes, on British (just Scottish?) TV in the 90's called Tartan Shorts. Here, the wonderful Ian Bannen stars. A man who has had a great tragedy - the loss of his wife or daughter, I think - befriends a clergyman (Bannen) in a remote Scottish location.
