That trust you expect in an intimate relationship is being shattered by his gas-lighting and lies. Angie confronts Adam with her fears and confesses to doing some outrageous things to recapture his love and attention. But Adam isn't moved, nor letting up on his destructive path, which includes inappropriate flirting with Angie's best friend, Eliza. Angie would be totally emotionally spiraling out of control, but for Eliza's friendship and help. Eliza wants Angie to clearly see what Adam is doing.
