At the airport, they notice that some creature resembling a stuffed animal in the shape of a horse (Ponygon) is attached to their luggage. It seems like he has been friends with Zatch for a long time. Relieved, Kiyo tries to pet him, but Ponygon suddenly and violently chomps down on Kiyo's hand! Zatch wants to keep Ponygon at their house, and Kiyo, of course, is against the idea. Then, Kiyo finds a mamodo spell book that has found its way into his bag. It seems that it belongs to Ponygon. Which means, he's a mamodo! Ponygon is having a hard time untying the rope bound around the book. Seeing this, Kiyo brings out a pair of scissors and cuts the rope. This rope was actually a backpack that Ponygon's mother had made for him. Ponygon sheds tears, but not understanding what Ponygon is saying, Kiyo has no feeling of guilt. Ponygon is outraged and attacks! While the two are fighting, Suzy and Tia, and the other friends come along. Ponygon is friendly to everyone, but as before, has an adversarial attitude toward Kiyo only. Kiyo finally kicks him out. Kiyo explains to Zatch and Tia that they can't keep Ponygon in the house. However, unconvinced, Zatch leaves by himself to go look for Ponygon. Getting harshly criticized by each of his friends, Kiyo grudgingly follows Zatch with Tia. When they finally find Zatch and Ponygon, they are in the city desperately looking for anybody who would adopt Ponygon. When Tia sees this, she explains to Kiyo how lonely and weary she felt when she was looking for the owner for her book. From her story and at the sight of Zatch and Ponygon, Kiyo is moved, and allows Zatch to keep Ponygon at their house until they find the owner of his book. Written by Anonymous See less
