In the absence of his father, Ted hesitates to let her in the nursery, but Laken persuades him to let her stay. Victoria hastens to escape with her son and goes back home. Julia finds her there on the step of the door, ready to leave with her suitcases. Jane continues charming Keith and uses a tape recorder to record possible admissions of guilt in the disappearance of Johnny. Ted brings Hayley back the papers of the divorce and signs them in her presence. The abductors of Mason show him the local newspaper where the "resurrection" of Eden is announced. In the desert, Kelly and Jeffrey arrive at a bar, the Desperado. Jeffrey fabricates a transmitter with an old television set. Without Kelly knowing, he goes back to see a garage owner whom they had met earlier and who had seemed to them to be suspicious. When she notices the tracking device, Kelly leaves to follow... The dialogues between Jane and Keith are, in this episode, more than ever filled with rather daring sexual implying. The cliffhanger of this episode not being probably rather gasping, the producers added - obviously at the time of the editing - a short final scene where Eden waits near her bed that Cain wakes up.
