Innkeepers Mark & Judith Stephens showed discoveries they found throughout the Brewster Inn of Senator Owen Brewster and his wife. Brewster was also Governor of Maine in 1924 for 2 terms. However he's probably best known as the US Senator who confronted Howard Hughes on his war spending during 1950's Senate hearings. In the movie "The Aviator," he was portrayed by actor Alan Alda.
