On the Ecstasy of Some People Through a Song is a long shot and slow motion film about the need to feel and capture emotions in our spectacular society for its reproduction and as proof to the belief that such moment existed. 51 seconds ...See moreOn the Ecstasy of Some People Through a Song is a long shot and slow motion film about the need to feel and capture emotions in our spectacular society for its reproduction and as proof to the belief that such moment existed. 51 seconds and 27 frames digitalized on video file which capture a specific timeframe of events that happen in the real and subjective immersion of a spectator within the collective and cathartic atmosphere of a concert. The film itself, totaling in 6 minutes and 41 seconds, sonically reimagined, explores the effect of the expansion of time which seems to elude us while filming a fleeting moment. It seeks to create a space for the contention and exaltation of the true meaning of an experience which would easily drift into oblivion and to its final dilution in the fast natured individualistic stream of data. Titled moment: "Tour VOLVER of Ana Torroja at the Auditorio Nacional at 9:53 p.m. on October 12, 2019 in Mexico City with my love."
