They hear a bang, then fantasize about finding Victor shot. Lucas skilfully gets the snake out unharmed, pretending to be bitten, and thus finds out Sami cares more for him then she admits. The reptile is happily picked up by it's planter: Will, who speculated it would get his parents frisky again. Despite the false panic, Shawn and Belle are jumpy, yet fail to catch stalker Jan, who escapes masquerading as a clown, before they show the button they found -actually from Marlena's coat- to John, who rushes off in time to find Marlena holding the knife at entranced Céleste's throat.
