Parkour is a movement-based discipline, it promotes mental and physical health, problem-solving, and mastery of a skill through repetition. When Jesse was in middle school, he was very overweight due to prescribed medication. This caused him to be self-conscious and to lack confidence. But once he discovered parkour and began his journey to a better life, his confidence grew. He started losing weight, and his entire outlook on life had changed for the better.
