Having written a note where he sees himself as a defender of the ill-treated Hayley, he tries to embrace her. But Hayley pushes him back. Pearl drives Madeline once again to a rendezvous point. On her return to the car, he points out to her that she does not have buttons anymore. Brandon's psychologist recommends that Santana and C.C. tell Brandon the truth about Gina's death. C.C. complies. Brandon, who is very sad, locks himself in his room. He takes his belongings and escapes by the window. Kirk asks C.C., Eden, Cruz and Hayley to join him in his hospital room. Gina fears of the revelations which he intends to make and gets ready to leave the city. At the time when Kirk begins making admissions, he is interrupted by his doctor. The doctor announces to him that he is in capacity to receive a heart transplant and that, for it, he must leave to Stanford's hospital. Kirk, relieved, abandons his admissions then. Cruz offers for Santana to come to live at home with Brandon. He joins Eden in the hospital at the time when she is leaving for Stanford... Scott Stevenson is credited in the ending credits as Kirk's doctor, while it is Lyman Ward who plays him. Scott Stevenson will be Kirk's doctor at Stanford only from episode 429.
