Geoff is a doctor, wife Sarah a music teacher and their children Simon and Kate typical teenagers. But when the family go to watch a hypnotist show and Simon mocks the act, the hypnotist gets his own back by getting the parents onstage and using them in his act. It causes much embarrassment for the kids when they get home, but the next day Kate notices her parents suddenly behave like children for no reason - only problem is that no one will believe her.
