Apparently, Bigfoot sightings are rampant in that area. In a moment of clarity, he decides to head home to report the story in an effort to reconnect with his roots, resurrect his career,, and repair his relationship with his estranged father, the sheriff. What he doesn't know is that his friends have concocted a story to help this former award-winning reporter re-establish his career. In the process he reconnects, then disconnects, with reality in a hysterically-funny yet dramatic midnight movie that will not be forgotten for a long time after its 71st minute.
