It is constantly in dialogue with current situation and has become part of the world civilization. The institution is popularly known as "Pesantren." Pesantren's motto is "to preserve good old traditions and embrace better new traditions" which keeps it evolving and giving to society. Hence, it is no wonder that throughout the history Pesantren has always been strong in keeping traditions while also constantly innovating.
