Destiny takes hold when their car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, marking the beginning of the biggest adventure of their young lives. Each mile of the journey gets harder and more regrettable until they hitch a ride with a group of free spirits living in an old yellow school bus on their way to the west coast. Soon the new friends' philosophy on life starts to make an impression on the small town friends, encouraging them to discover themselves as individuals. Tensions begin to run high as old arguments and feelings surface, causing the friends to re-evaluate their bond and each of them ultimately making decisions that may forever alter their future.
