He sends a message from his home to Brandon to arrange to meet him in the gazebo on the Capwell property. But Sophia intercepts the call and finds Lionel. She pleads Gina's case, arguing that she is the only mother whom Brandon knows. Lionel is persuaded and has an explanation with Augusta as for his activities. Eden comes back from Hawaii with Kirk. Kirk tells her that he is Jack Lee's son. After catching up with Cruz, Eden is going to see her father. She reminds Ted and Gina of the promise that she made to him which was not keeping him living artificially. Gina, enticed by the idea, hastens to speak to Sophia about it. Cruz, he, is completely opposed to any idea of euthanasia. Eden has a nightmare where she sees herself as a prisoner of the machine which keeps her father living.
