Now you can stay home and finally enjoy the latest Super 8 grind house faux trailer short from the mad minds behind Reel Groovy Films. Produced over 2018 and '19, Writer/Director John Hartman concocts another campy and subversive cinematic flight of fancy that dabbles in drag and stag. When macho 1980's soap opera icon El Terrifico (Victor Escajadillo) suddenly departs the mortal coil during production of one of his famously fetishistic scenes, his soap opera TV show crew must scramble to find a starring replacement. Enter a lookalike who works a drag show.. The program's director and PA (Michael P. O'Toole) hope to pass the hapless newcomer off as their suave star, or face the wrath of mob boss backer El Supremo (played by real life boot-hatted presidential candidate Vermin Supreme) and his bizarre bandits like Rod Webber and The Fixer (Eric R. Eastman). See what is being called John Hartman's strangest film yet. Written by Michael Phelan See less
