It was hosted by Tony Award winning producer Stewart F. Lane. It aired weekly on the Crosswalks Channel which reached a potential of more than 4 million New York City viewers. The Crosswalks NYC television network was the official cable channel group of the City of New York from 1982 until 2003 when it became known as NYC TV. Curtain time received two Telly Awards in 1995.
