She's a doctor, she lived with her, so she should have recognized the signs. Geert tries to comfort her and tells her that no-one could have foreseen this. When Odette walks in before the ceremony, Geert invites her to sit with them. When Ann holds her speech, she breaks up into tears. Geert helps her and continues the rest of the speech. Odette doesn't go back home with them, because it might raise questions that she is there and she doesn't want to be a bother. Geert decides to look her up. Sam sees Femke behind the counter at the supermarket and fires her on the spot. Cois tells Mo about how Leo is willing to check the accounts at Marie Design. Mo still has his doubts, but is willing to let Leo have a look at it and will decide afterward. Sonja is willing to offer her apologies to Martine, if she apologizes to Dorien. When Eric tells Martine this, she demands excuses from Sam, because she's still his mother and she deserves some respect. They see each other after the funeral and Sam asks Martine is she wants to help at the Fit & Fun occasionally. Martine and Eric also meet Sofie on the arm of Peter. Kasper is not very friendly towards Amber. She tells him it might be better if he went to Nona instead. He apologizes and says he wants her and not Nona. Katrien and Paulien go with Julia to Cois who promised to make diner. The girls don't want to go, but they have little choice. Cois made pancakes, but Katrien and Paulien don't see this as diner at all and don't want to eat. Cois is disappointed. When Simonne comes home, she sees Leo and Frank out cold on the couch. Yvette and Franky tell her they were drinking all afternoon and that Frank missed his job interview. Simonne wakes him and tells him they just phoned and he has a second chance if he hurries there.
