Eventually, he learns from Till where Marc is. He expects a sermon after his return home, but his father has already immersed himself again with Alexander in art books that make them forget everything around them. Marc feels like an outsider, nobody seems to have missed him. Regina, who has a guilty conscience towards her son, wants to cook for everyone in the evening and invites Laura to join her.
