The bride and groom make a ...See moreThe sporty best-man, as the bride and groom are about to depart on a trip, lays a wager that the couple cannot remain incognito a week, or, if they do, that their guests will completely furnish their new home. The bride and groom make a good "get-away," and, picking up the "want ads" in the paper, observe that a hotel demands "a live bellhop" and "a neat-appearing chambermaid." They disguise themselves and secure the situations. The new servants prove so popular with the guests that their tips are enormous, and the couple reap quite a harvest from their practical joke. At the end of the week's engagement they return to the room they rented, and, arraying themselves in all their bridal finery, go back to meet the guests of their wedding face to face, and receive the useful wager they have so ingeniously earned.
