Mr. Dovey becomes enraged. Mr. Wilson, a very dear friend of the family happens to be their guest at dinner and pacifies his friend, Mr. Dovey, by suggesting that Mr. Dovey make love to the dear old lady and by doing so get his wife jealous. Upon this suggestion he takes mother-in-law to the theater, leaving little wifey at home alone. Dovey shows mother a good time and one that requires ice water in the morning. The friend in the meantime gets Mrs. Dovey to send a telegram to mother, causing her to leave at once, the Doveys being none too slow to help mother get away so that they may once more enjoy their little home in comfort.
