She has appointed a locum consultant, Stuart McElroy, to replace her with both Joseph and Sam vying for an acting up position, which Joseph gets. Connie is non too happy. Also when she leaves baby Grace with Sam, he pawns her off on a nurse. Kyla's drinking gets out of hand when she loses two patients, and Faye loses patience with her. When Ric finds out, he tells her he will report her. However, she tells him if he does then she will tell the hospital authorities about Abra's and his hush hospital operations.
