During the same night further six people died. Officially the case has been closed and the missing young men were declared dead, although none of them has been found. The lawyer Luis Salas classifies the scanty evidence. A student named Ernesto survived the violent acts. He still hopes to be reunited with his fellow students in class. Since the night of the incidents, the parents of the forty-three students have been demonstrating on campus, hoping and waiting for the return of their children, or at least for certainty and justice.
