During an appointment, a boy steals her briefcase along with money, official documents and the "cuckoo" stickers. In the middle of the morning when the boy clearly belonged in school. But chance is on Billy's side: she meets the boy again when she is supposed to collect payment for a kitchen stove from a single mother. Louisa is a person with learning difficulties and has been torn from her functioning everyday routine since the death of her mother. The situation is now more dramatic than a few outstanding installments would appear at first glance. Since her son Marcel keeps skipping school, Patrick Semmel from the youth welfare office assumes that Louisa cannot take care of his well-being and therefore orders him to be placed in a home.
