The first lead leads to horse breeder Pascal Raat. The significantly older, married man had an affair with the girl. But Raat maintains his innocence. But is it just a coincidence that he claims to have broken up with his lover on the night of her death? Suspicion grows stronger when the detectives discover that ketamine is often used to anesthetize horses. Then Detective Nina Weiss meets her old school crush, Paul, at a taxi stand in front of the crime scene. Sparks immediately rekindle between them. When she learns that the blogger had sex with a taxi driver whose description might fit Paul's, shortly before her death, Nina Weiss makes a momentous decision: She investigates on her own.
