Her body is found in woodland, where police decide that a reconstruction of her last movements will help jog people's memories. They coerce their young Detective Sergeant Gill Parsons into playing the role of the dead woman, despite her reluctance, while she is uncomfortable about having to work with her sexist colleagues.
