Karen retreats to a local coffee shop, where she encounters Joyce 'the Joymaker', who had once been Karen's life coach but is now homeless and disoriented. Karen takes her home where Joyce reveals she's dying. During their short time together, Karen takes strength from the other woman's lighthearted clarity, spontaneity, and coaching.
