Brooklyn's friend Faith and her boyfriend Casey are working hard at not working on their relationship, so when Brooklyn decides she's going to "hide out" with Faith for the summer; everyone is happy to focus their attention on Brooklyn and her problems. When Brooklyn begins to assert herself, however, Faith, Casey, and a host of other characters, are forced to confront the reality of their relationships with results that are hilarious and heartbreaking by turns.
