When Nate reveals that once he tutored a student in poverty who regardless had serviceable parents, he's convinced marriage isn't necessary when being with someone you love, but Jen disagrees and declares him wrong for even dating her in the first place when he knew a relationship wasn't possible due to his fear of displeasing his parents.
