The palace restores around ten rooms each year thanks to its own upholsterer's workshop. Nice also has an exceptional Art Deco heritage. Twenty-five kilometers from the coast, the summit of the baou de Saint-Jeannet offers spectacular views of the cliffs and the large wild plateaus of the hinterland. On the Italian Riviera The Italian Riviera extends its three hundred and thirty kilometers of coastline, from the French border to the Cinque Terre. In Bordighera, we discover the villa and the magnificent garden of Charles Garnier, the architect of the Paris Opera. Genoa is the capital of Liguria. Its lighthouse, one of the oldest in operation in the world, has become the emblem of the city. The former Maritime Republic has preserved many palaces listed by Unesco. We discover the Royal Palace, which houses a Hall of Mirrors inspired by Versailles. In Camogli, the feast of the patron saint of fishermen mobilizes all energies every year. We follow the ephemeral constructions that take shape on the beach, including a large wooden Eiffel Tower. The Cinque Terre National Park has fourteen kilometers of coastline and terraces classified by Unesco. A heritage that mobilizes young people today. See less
