When Darla nixes Bill's hopes for a happy future of Karen and Thorne by mentioning Macy's tape that she has sent Thorne, Bill feels the urge to intervene. Sally is confused why Macy is suddenly optimistic that she and Thorne will not get divorced after all. After explaining her reasons, Macy continues to anxiously wait for a call from Thorne. Just as Thorne is about to play Macy's recording, Bill walks into his office at Forrester Creations. Ridge and Taylor talk again about Brooke's dinner invitation. She cannot help but think the worst of Brooke. Ridge tells Taylor that he will go alone tonight and prove his wife wrong that Brooke is interested in anything else but him forming a bond to his daughter. Meanwhile, Brooke shares with Karen that she is more convinced than ever that she and Ridge will end up together.
