She questions Storm about the next steps of the court proceedings. Storm explains to her that in two weeks' time the judge might declare Stephen dead. Later, Beth breaks it to Katie and Donna that they cannot close their eyes on the obvious anymore: their father is dead. The girls are hit hard by Beth's words. Alone with her older sister, an upset Donna weeps when Brooke suddenly admits that Stephen is alive - Ridge accuses Eric of throwing away a fulfilling marriage and demands that his father reveal the name of the other woman. Eric refuses, but is impressed that Stephanie continues to act very mature with him.
