Our story starts in the heart of Carnutes territory in Gaul, with a fourteen-year-old girl named TANA and her teacher, the bloodthirsty warrior-druid COTUATOS. Tana runs away after Cotuatos sacrifices her mother and brother. Following the advice of DIVICIACOS, a druid allied with the Romans, Tana heads to Rome in order to fulfill her destiny. On her way, she meets POSEIDONIOS, a young man two years older than her. Tana reveals herself to be an exceptional fighter while Poseidonios aspires to become a hero.
