Ridge does not mind to leave on this trip to get some distance from his problems with Taylor and Brooke and clear his mind. Later, Taylor reminds Ridge that they have overcome difficult challenges before, but eventually their paths always led back to each other. Eric gets a phone call from his former sister-in-law Maggie who is heartbroken over the distance to her baby girl in light of her divorce being finalized. Maggie Forrester reveals that she is already on her way to Los Angeles in her RV to see Jessica. Upon his return to L.A., Anthony gives Sally, Darla and Saul a recount on how Thorne showed up in Mexico and through his erratic behavior proved to him that he is Ivana's killer. The Spectra clan has a tough time believing that Thorne could be a murderer. After being recaptured and placed in solitary confinement, Thorne is surprised to receive a visit from Macy at L.A. county jail. Macy quickly reveals to her fiancé that she overheard his conversation with Anthony and now knows that their supposed friend is a lunatic who killed his own girlfriend. Macy then tells Thorne that she has hatched a daring plan: She wants to pretend to be in love with Anthony so that he confesses to her about Ivana's murder.
