Considering her recent improvement, James is following the theory that Stephanie might have suffered from poisoning. In Brentwood, Grant fails to convince Sheila that he never meant to hurt her. Sheila has an almost violent reaction, yet she has her sights set on a new man: James with whom she was once intimate when she kept him in the dungeon. At Forrester Creations, Brooke fills Eric in on her propitiating visit with Stephanie. Eric then reveals that he wants Grant to take over the Men's Line from Ridge. At first, Brooke protests, but eventually agrees to give Grant - who has great credentials as a designer in New York - a chance. During counseling, Sheila admits to James that he envies his romance with Maggie. She wants to find love as well.
