Scotty makes clear to Kim nobody takes any notice of the girls 'running away', but also tells his parents how hopelessly useless and selfish they are. Bree realizes Janae's plan won't work, so she returns home and declares to 'divorce' her parents. After Boyd told her she should fight as she does everywhere else, Janae buys back the mini-van and tells Kim he can have it to run, but then never may return, yet really wants him to stay for good and stick out the bad times too, as a real father does; Janelle decides instead to take the vehicle and leave him care for the kids.
