Rick notices that his father is deeply disappointed after being stood up by Taylor. Ridge, Brooke and Stephanie join them on the terrace and urge an afflicted Eric to enjoy the evening. Said and done, Eric enters back on the dance floor and asks Sally of all people to join him. James and Stephanie wonder why Taylor did not show up at the party. Later, Stephanie feels the urge to confront Sally for showing up uninvited. Stephanie's words of contempt hit Sally hard, but she informs Macy that it spurred her zest to win over Eric.
