Eric is happy to see his dear friend Dr. Tracy Peters because he intends to talk about a delicate topic. Tracy commits to utmost secrecy and learns that he wants to prepare a paternity test for Brooke's baby. She explains that testing is more complex than usual because of Eric and Ridge sharing common DNA parts; therefore Stephanie's blood will also be compared to the child. Stephanie confides in Ridge that she overheard Jack trying to convince his son not to leave town. Ridge unsuccessfully pleads with Felicia to not run away with Zach. Felicia retorts that Zach means a lot to her and she has the right to live her own life. Meanwhile, Zach bids his farewell to Taylor. He then leaves to pick up Felicia at the Forrester Mansion.
