Raymond is convinced he's from another dimension and must consume fresh human flesh in order to find his way back home. A pill-popping, mentally-ill young couple, January and Jeremy, embark on their own quest for happiness, which they hope to locate through the Tree of Reason. On their journey, they pick up a hitchhiker, Raymond, and the three soon find themselves in a mysterious small-town café, owned by a man seeking immortality.
