But while Mireille's visit is partly based on sentimentality, it is also a personal visit to get answers from the current crime lords who now govern Corsica with absolute dominion. The crime lords in power tell her that her family had a nasty altercation with a colossal entity known as the Soldats and the only person who might know anything is George Madeline, Laurant Bouquet's right-hand man from the old days when the Bouquet family controlled Corsica. Mireille approaches him, but instead of being greeted with a warm welcome, George responds with fright and pleads with her to stay away from him. Mireille knows that George knows something about the execution of her family and she's determined to find out what it is...however, there are people lurking within the shadows who are determined to make sure that the truths of the past stays buried in its cold muddy grave...and are not above putting Mireille in a grave to make sure that its secrets don't come to light.
