They decide to rob him, but upon learning his story they decide not to. Jeff Brandsford, cowboy and adventurer, has lost all his money and falls in with Ballinger, nephew of a rich man who will not advance him money. Jeff saves Fite from hanging himself and then he meets Ballinger and they decide to help Fite out, he having lost all of his money. Fite gets back his money and some time later, after working hard, Ballinger returns to his uncle's house where he claims Nona, his uncle's ward, as his wife.
