The girl is really a good girl who is struggling against poverty and temptation and is deeply in love with Radford. Madam Danfers invites Lila, the actress and some society girls to the house in order to show Radford the difference between "ladies and LADIES." At the luncheon Radford introduces Lila as his wife and Madam orders them to leave the house and they set up housekeeping in a tenement. Later a child is born to Lila, but even this does not soften her mother-in-law. Radford takes his son to his mother and the babe is dressed in the baptism robes of Radford.
