She covers her face with heavy veil, and meeting him at his auto, asks to be taken on an all-day trip, the $20 expenses, she says, is mere trifle. They start off and before the trip is finished, all the wonders of that section of Washington have been revealed to her admiring eyes (and those of the audience). Among the things she sees are the Snoqualmie Falls with its wonderful mist enshrouding its base; Mount Rainier in all its majestic glory, ice-topped and towering over all surrounding country; and Mirror Lake at the foot of Rainier, as still and clear as a mirror, reflecting the beauty of the great mountain. After the trip they return to their starting place, where Hubby requests his fare, but receives a shock when Wifie removes her veil and tells him to go fish for it.
