After Victor and Nikki tuck Cassie in they make plans for the night of their own. Nick tells Sharon about Cassie's cough. As they hurry home, Sharon leaves Cody her credit card and PIN so that he can make some payments for the coffee house all while Carter is watching. Phyllis hints at Michael that she has set her sights on a new man. She also encourages Michael to seize the opportunity with Christine should it present itself. Tomas calls Chris, Paul, and Nina over to his house to announce that Hugh is referring Nina's book to his publisher. They all toast and celebrate. Later, Paul tells Christine that he is resenting Michael's influence on their lives. He tells a distraught Chris that he doesn't think they can work out their differences as long as she is in the partnership with Michael. Brad informs Ashley that Jack has agreed to be his best man.
