Paige dumps Nathan for not deserting her dodgy dad's firm, which starts building even before the marina is officially transferred, then quits Oasis herself, feeling her PR advice is systematically ignored. Tanya promises Adrian to leave Lane for him. The police has finished the arson investigation and found some of Lane's fingerprints, so he lies depending on Tanya being his fake alibi, but she drinks again and attracts suspicion by running. Jason takes up wake-boarding again, refuses rejoining competition but after asking Paige's advice presents his invention, modifications for a softer landing inspired by his now healed knee-injury, to his former sponsor Wavecrest's representative Alex.
