Julie shows her the diamond necklace her new boyfriend just gave her. Nell tells her that she should give it back because she doesn't know him that well. She entrusts it to Nell till she meets him again. Nell's new boyfriend gives her a mink coat, which she takes and plans to wear at the ceremony and also wears the necklace. Later she gets robbed.
