Neal, a cashier of a local bank, is her fiance. She shows such interest in motion picture comedians that he impersonates Charlie Chaplin and visits her at the home of her relatives, wrecking the place and stealing her gems. He is arrested and sent to jail for thirty days, during which time she is cured of her infatuation. When released he returns without the disguise and is accepted on the old footing.
