Anita is trapped by the moonshiners, who are running a roadhouse, where the signs tell the traveler that soda water and ice cream are sold within. She is imprisoned in the cellar, which is just over an aqueduct leading to a deep reservoir. Shorty arrives in the mountains just in time to save the moonshiner's daughter from a band of incensed people and she is the means of rescuing Anita from the hands of her father.
